Exttent of the camp of the Legio Partica.

Funerary stele of the child Eutyches.

An excellent representation of the archaic period is the small polychrome head of a Latin warrior from the 5th century B.C., which is  undoubtedly one of the most important exhibits in the Museum, together with a fine terracotta high-relief form a temple, showing a scene of Maenads and Satyrs dancing.

Local sanctuaries of the archaic and republican periods have yielded up votive objects, while the daily life of that time is illustrated by a number of interesting objects, some of them quite peculiar, which are arranged thematically.

In the following rooms there are exhibited finds from various Roman villas in the area. The beautiful statue of a woman in Parian marble is one of the many marble pieces that have come from the imperial villa that first belonged to Pompey.
